Trust is such a big component of our lives.

It’s the foundation of all relationships; with other people, with life circumstances and with ourselves.

People talk about trust, but few ever get really clear as to what it is. When you get clear about what something is to you, it becomes more tangible in your life.

So instead of giving you a long discourse on trust, I’m just going to answer a few questions.

These questions will illuminate your own answers, allowing you to trust more. Obviously this leads to more of what we all want… Love, peace, bliss, happiness, harmony…etc.

Here are the questions…

What is Trust?

Trust is confidence in the unfoldment of a situation.

What is Trust With People?

Confidence that they are for your highest good.

Trust with people also consists of three things:

  1. Trusting their words – Confidence that what they’re saying is true.
  2. Trusting their actions – Confidence that they’re acting from a pure place.
  3. Trusting their alignment – Trusting that their actions are aligned with their words

How Can You Trust Life?

You trust life by seeing the lessons in every situation.

To trust life is to have the mentality, “Whether good, bad or ugly, I know there’s a lesson here.” Because there really is a lesson to be learned in every moment.

With this mindset (or HEART-set), you naturally cultivate faith in the unfoldment of life.

How Can You Build Trust With People?

  • Find people whose actions match their words, and both are based in love.
  • Help each other consistently

And of course, your ability to trust others is a reflection of your ability to trust yourself.

You can only trust other people as much as you trust yourself.

How Can You Build Trust With Yourself?

  • Ensure that your actions are aligned with your words
  • Ensure that you’re coming from a place of love in every situation (not driven by fears and hidden agendas)
  • Practice action/word-alignment and coming from love moment-to-moment

Remember, trust is built through consistent practice.

Be mindful. Be consistent.

Learn to discern. Learn to trust. This is how the flower of life opens up to you.

Love & Blessings
